From one admission exam to a learning platform
Admitere Drept starts with a deliberately narrow problem: practise the UVT Law admission exam. HubAdmitere takes a broader direction, covering Romanian exams through a learning platform rather than a single simulator. The difficult part is preserving useful feedback as the subject range grows. A wrong answer should lead to an explanation and a sensible next exercise, rather than merely a lower score. That is the product question behind adaptive practice, written-answer feedback and the tutor.
Written answers need a different kind of feedback
A multiple-choice question has a constrained answer. A free-text answer can be partly correct, use a different formulation or miss one essential step. AI grading is useful only if the learner can understand what was credited and what was missing. I treat the grading interface as part of the lesson: the explanation matters as much as the number. This is an engineering and editorial problem together. Correct API responses cannot certify the quality of an explanation or the completeness of an exam syllabus.
A place for the learner and the family
The repository contains a React learning app, native iOS and Android apps, a family space and a separate administration console. They serve different jobs. A learner needs a focused exercise; the family needs understandable progress; editors need controlled tools for lessons and questions. Combining all of these into one dense dashboard would make every role harder. The shared backend keeps the learning records together, while the interfaces can stay specific to their users.
The stack and the editorial boundary
Django and Django REST Framework support the platform, with React for the web surfaces and Astro for the landing page. The local development stack includes curriculum seeds, tests and scripts, but lesson seeds enter review instead of publishing automatically. That distinction is intentional: importing a lesson is different from approving it for a student. The same applies to AI feedback. A working integration needs evaluation against actual subject requirements before it becomes a dependable learning feature.
Where it stands
HubAdmitere is in development. Commercial prices and limits are still being prepared, and checkout is disabled by default. Content review, real hosting and provider configuration, push notifications and physical-device checks remain launch conditions. The useful next step is a controlled learning journey with reviewed material and clear feedback. I would rather show that journey working than claim unlimited coverage. The landing domain is hubadmitere.ro; the name has evolved from the earlier AdmitereHub working name.
